Юбка скроена двумя прямыми полотнищами шириной 1.5 и 1 м, на спинке собрана складками.
Лиф не дублированный, поскольку ткань лифа довольно плотная. Лиф двойной, с подкладом из основной ткани. Вытачки лифа заложены, но не застрочены. Выкройка делалась методом наколки.
Кружевное платье не имеет застежки, под грудью и по декольте проходят регулирующая объемы кулиски.
Впоследствии для серого платья мы с заказчицей сшили трен-накидку из синего бархата (по подобию такой же у зеленого ампира).
